Ministry of Communication and Information (MCI)'s Conversation on Protection of Women Against Online Harms

In these conversations, MCI was looking to form a new Singapore Together Alliance for Action (AfA) on tackling online harms, especially those targeted at women and girls. I participated and gave insights from a perspective of young undergraduate students and areas that can be improved for young girls.

In this group, we had discussions about the pain points we felt about “women in tech” and how we can bring about solutions to tackle it. Some key terms that we had bounced off was the idea of role models and personal mentorship programs.
